Every Last Detail for your DIY High Tea

Finish off your tables with gorgeous linens and bunting

If you’re planning a DIY high tea, I feel you. It’s no small task and not just a matter of shoving some soggy sandwiches on a plate. What with the baking, the styling, invitations, prepping the house and not to mention dealing with a million pesky questions from the Mother-in-Law. And if you’re also managing a family, full-time work and your bestie's new boyfriend dramas, add in planning a DIY event no matter how big or small and it can all start to get slightly overwhelming.

That’s why I’m here! Think of me as your DIY high tea Fairy Godmother, although that makes me sound a bit like a rotund old girl in a lavender suit! Hmm... yeah maybe “Fairy Bestie”? High tea hire is my main biz so I can assist with anything your heart desires when it comes to planning your own high tea. From teacups to vintage cutlery, crystal glassware, champagne buckets, cake stands of every variety, and that’s just the start of it.

And the one thing that often gets overlooked when planning your own high tea or dinner party at home is the linen. If you’ve got a gorgeous timber table (or tables) that you’re going to be using then I ain’t gonna lie, my advice is to ditch the table linen totally and show off the table in all its naked glory but if you’re using basic trestles or your dining table has seen better days then it’s gonna need some clothes and our vintage linen is perfect for this. We have a range of lace and crochet tablecloths, doilies, runners, napkins and of course the finishing touch for any sweet as pie DIY high tea…. Vintage bunting!

Measurements and quantities are listed in the gallery below so check em’ out and drop me a line with any questions. Please keep in mind that below is just a small sample of our range with more images to be added shortly.
